Registration Fines

The following Standardized Registration violation fines were adopted by the CKCSC Board of Directors August 11, 2006 and subsequently amended by the Board May 10, 2007 and July 25, 2008.

Breeding a bitch 3 consecutive seasons or more than two litters in any 15-month period:

• First Offense - $200.00 fine.
• Second Offense - $1500.00 fine.
• Third Offense - $1500.00 fine and 6 month suspension of ALL privileges of the corporation.
• Any resulting puppies are registered on restricted registration until age two at which time the breeder may request lifting of the restriction for double the fee. The requesting of lifting of the restriction only applies to the first offense.

Breeding a bitch under the age of 12 months or over the age of 8 years:

• First Offense - $400.00 fine.
• Second Offense - $2500.00 fine.
• Third Offense - $2500.00 fine and 1 year suspension of ALL privileges of the corporation.
• Any resulting puppies are registered on restricted registration until age two at which time the breeder may request lifting of the restriction for double the fee. The requesting of lifting of the restriction only applies to the first offense.

Breeding from or to a restricted dog or bitch:

• First Offense - $500.00 fine.
• Second Offense - $2000.00 fine.
• Third Offense - $2000.00 fine and 1 year suspension of ALL privileges of the corporation. Any resulting puppies are registered on restricted registration until age two at which time the breeder may request lifting of the restriction for double the fee. The requesting of lifting of the restriction only applies to the first offense.

Failure to register all litters or individual dogs:

• Fine $500.00
• Allow 6 months to comply.
